We have noticed a big trend in the horsebox
hire market of cheap conversions being used for hire that 9 times out of 10 advertise that they can take 2 x 17hh and will
undercut the big companies such as ourselves with good reputations for the sake of £10.00, it is fact that 2 x 17hh
horses will put a 3.5 tonne horsebox overweight most small horseboxes can only carry a maximum of approx 1100kg, in addition
there have been many reported cases of horses rearing up into the back of little 3.5 tonne conversions and getting stuck in
the open living area,many with fatal outcomes, this would not be the case with one of our horseboxes as the living is
seperated by a door through to a clean changing area, in addition our breast bars are removable in the event of an accident,
this is not the case in lots of hire boxes that we have mystery shopped on the market, our boxes will also give your horse
a comfortable and stable ride due to the way the box is balanced meaning the horses will not sway around unlike some conversions,
we have taken the descision to reduce our prices to ensure that horse owners can now have the very best quality for their
horse and still watch their pocket, we are proud to promote the safety and welfare of all horses travelling in our boxes and
want to drive down the risk of unnecessary accidents and injury's for the sake of a few pounds...
If you dont hire
from us always check the following :
Ask if the horsebox has either a seperate living area
or anti weave grills to prevent the horse rearing into the back.
Ask for the weight limit of the box remember this
must take into account passengers, horses, fuel and tack,.
Ask for a copy of the insurance policy.
Always
check that full breakdown cover is provided.
Always check that the box has had essentials such as tyres, water
and oil checked.
